KL Biennale Symposium at the National Art Gallery

Art and art education have a huge functional status in the process towards the development of holistic and creative individuals. The presentation on Artists in Schools (AiS) – “Icebreaking with A.i.S : The Implementation of Artists in Schools Program (AiS) in Selected Malaysian Schools” – during the Alami Belas (Be Loved) Biennale Symposium at the National Art Gallery recently on February 24 2018 explores a possible strategy in achieving that end.

The data gathered during the initiative, among others, illustrate encouraging outcomes in terms of significantly boosting students’ motivation  in art classrooms. It clearly demonstrated a bright potential for such program to be appropriately integrated in the mainstream educational scheme.

Congratulations and thanks to the symposium’s organizers for successfully organizing the event and providing this precious opportunity for AiS: it is definitely an honor to share our experience with the rest of local arts’community in Malaysia. Through events like this, we hope that relevant and exciting solutions can be communicated and materialized through solid motivation and undivided commitment.
